Visiting the Pumpkin Patch

Lakeview Farms is by far our most favorite place to go when it comes to getting our pumpkins. They have a train to ride out to the pumpkin patch in that goes through a small tunnel filled with creepy Halloween scenes.

Once you arrive at the pumpkin patch you can roam the never ending fields of pumpkins to find just the 'right one' or you can play in the haymaze.

After you are done there, you walk down to the very large pond aka a mini lake and take a ferry back across to the barn all the while seeing sea monsters and sharks that come up out of the water and spray you.

When you arrive at the barn you can partake in face painting, eat BBQ , go through a corn maze, ride the catapillar ride, take pictures in the fun signs they have and browse all the fun Halloween and Autumn decor they have filled throughout the barn where you pay for your pumpkins.

This place just has the right amount of things to have enjoy a nice afternoon in the sun and cool crisp Fall air. At the end of our trip we went to check out the little petting zoo and found the cutest little kittens ever!

Of course, I was smitten by the adorable orange and white tabby kitten and found every reason in the world as to why we had to have him.

Well....

Harbour Family Halloween Party!

This was the first year our family had a Halloween party and we had so much fun! I've always been one for a good costume party and will accept any reason in the world to be able to play dress up. Kylie decided to be a Ballerina this year. Chris was a 1930's Gangster and I was a 1930's Movie Star. These were taken before we left our house for the party.

Damama the Witch was the gracious hostess of the party. She had games planned, good food and always good company.

Carrie who tried to dress up as Lil' Bo Peep so she could be matched up with Angenlina her little lamb but the costumes were not available. She still came out as a cute cute mechanic. Cuter than any other mechanics I've ever seen!

Cherise, Jake and Cole... I love these boys! They are getting so old!

Kylie and Rachael... Cousins are the best!

We played this game where you had to try and get the donut in your mouth without using your hands. It was so funny to watch the kids. Of course when it came to the adults, Allison was the CHAMP!

Puppy Power!

Kylie is currently in soccer and it has been a lot of fun watching her learn to do this sport. At first she started out not really caring about it and was there just to be there. But once she started to get the concept of the whole idea, she has been on fire! The last two games she has scored a total of 5 goals for her team!

After Kylie's first game, Chris was recruited as Assistant Coach and although he doesn't say it, he is really enjoying working with these little kids. Here are the some pictures from the teams had picture day.

We've also had the joy of having Damama and cousins come to watch!

Kylie 1st Day of Kindergarten!

Kylie started Kindergarten earlier this month and she L-O-V-E-S it! Chris is very happy that she loves school because he was a child that absolutely hated it. She must have gotten the love for school from me, because although I didn't care to do work in school, I did love being at school from Elementary all the way through High School, and even now, just doing classes from home, I love it! I swear Im going to have the largest student loan debt by the time I'm 60. Anyway, here are pictures from Kylie's first day of school. This was her before we left the house.

Kylie in front of her school.

Going to find her new classroom.

She is VERY excited about her first day!

Chris showing Kylie where her backpack goes.

Kylie at her little table that she shares with two other boys... Oh great!

And of course pictures with the proud Mom and Dad...

Since Kylie's first day at school we have had the chance to go to a back to school night where we were able to see her with her new little friends and it was just so exciting from a parents perspective to see how much she is already changing and how well she is doing. Her school has a reward system called "Gotcha's" where if the student is caught doing something "respectful, responsible or safe" (which are the schools core values) they receive a "gotcha" that they can put in a bucket and later can be drawn for a prize. After they get there prize, they can bring the gotcha home. Well we are in week 3 of school and she's already brought 3 home and she says she has a lot more in the bucket. We are so proud of her!

Harbour Family Camping Trip to Beverly Beach

This last weekend my mom, brothers and sisters and their families all met up for a weekend campout at Beverly Beach. I always love camping with my family and look forward to it each and ever summer.

This was a picture of some of the surfers down on the beach. There were tons of them!

This is most of the family standing in front of the punch bowl.

Looking down into Devil's Punch Bowl.

Actually down in the Punch Bowl.

And of course my family which I love dearly.

Kylie's Birthday Present

We decided to get Kylie a swing set this year for her birthday. It was a toss up between a swingset or a trampoline, so we went for the swing set. I searched online everywhere and found one at K-Mart. It's a traditional metal frame which isn't my favorite but it had something that was well worth it. A trampoline! It's called the Jump N' Swing and it's perfect!

After her birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese, Chris and her Uncle B left to go set it up while my friend and I took our girls out to play more. When we got home, Chris asked Kylie to let the dogs outside. I was standing on the other side of the door with my camera and took this shot when she noticed the swing set.

She was so excited, and we are very happy parents!
